What a game last night and what a great bunch of girls. Kutztown tried real ard to distract Sarah but she pulled it together to show she has massive talent. And every girl pulled their weight and backed her up. It is nice to see how the coaches keep them focused and ensure they enjoy the game win or loose. Thanks girls for some great softball and the class act you display.

What a great crop of girls, from 9-12! And a great coaching team that treats the girls fairly, honestly and encourages them. More of the HS programs should model themsleves after the softball program. There is so much talent at this level, it is amazing.I see a couple more state championship playoffs in our future for the next couple of years. And kudos to the feeder programs that have done a great job of keeping these girls active and engaged in softball before they got to this level Well done. If you haven't come out lately to see some BHASD softball this season, please consider it. You won't be disappointed!

Nice smack Taylor and great game girls. Sarah hung in there as tired as it was, all you pulled together to win that game. It is a good lesson to just keep hanging in there, it only comes when you stick too it. Congrats Don, it was great to see your reaction. Don you have made such a difference in these young ladies lives...THANK YOU

Now is your chance to start attending one of the best shows in Berks, Brandywine Girls Softball. Can these young ladies play or what? Not to take anything away from Hamburg, either team deserved a win last night. But it came down to staying the course, playing as a team and one fantastic hit, Thank you Taylor. Counties begin next Thursday May 13, time and place to be announced. So if you have a free evening come out and watch these young ladies play. You will not be disappointed! See you at the ball game.

I love to come out and watch these ladies play! This coaching staff should be the model by which all other high school coaching staffs are judged and/or defined. Great effort, girls. Way to hang tough. Good luck on Thursday!

You are half right. The girls played an awesome game the coach was horrible. 10th and 11th inning playing international rules what are you doing not bunting the runner to third. Don't let the girls playing well impair your judgement about the coach. He has no clue the girls bailed him out once again.

Obviously a nice note from someone who's daughter isn't playing.   Actually his vote of confidence in the girls being able to hit tough pitching will pay dividends later in the year.

Oaky I thought the same thing. However, when you look at the bunting of the hitters that night, it was a better bet to let them hit. I am not a big fan of the decisions at times but he knows the players better than me. I know as a former coach that you have to take into account many factors about a player before you ask them to do something. I knew in the 10th that Hamburgs pitcher was displaying fatigue and soreness when she pitched inside? I knew that she was slowing down her change-up.. He knew Taylor would utilize the pitch. It was his decision and it worked. I can not believe anyone would trash this post or negate it? I guess they just prove nahsayers wrong in their play. Take your meds and focus on your own issues.

No I don't have any children playing just a fan. And I'm not talking about the hit that won the game you should have been swinging away at that point. Read my post and you'll see i'm talking about the first batters in the 10th and the 11th. You should be sacrificing the runner on second to third to give your team the highest percentage to score. I don't need to post anymore to explain myself, if you don't understand that then you are not as knowledgable as you think.

Great job girls good luck in counties!!!!

You sound like one of those guys that calls into a  sports radio program and give some NFL coach the benefit of your extensive knowledge from having watched a game every Sunday.
