why would you want to play them low? The whole point of having big speakers in cars is to annoy other people. Since the school has Apple computers there is a discount for playing you iPod in the car. Using other media players is going to cost you.

Now I know why I don't bother to look on this site more than I do......it's full of nothing but morons who think they are educated, but are really just dopes with nothing more to do than sit at their computers all day and think about how they can put down the school district. If it's that bad, then why don't you all just move?? Find one that's so much better to make you happy. After all, this is ALL about making things easier for ME, ME, ME and making me HAPPY! Geeez

The school was suppose to have a plan set up years ago for situations such as these, that's why so many treachers were pissed. We stood in the rain for half an hour with no shelter besides about 50 kids fitting into the softball dugouts. The students should have been able to sit in their cars or teachers cars for heat. Being in the freezing cold with rain can cause hyperthemia! Plus, the cars would have been father away from the school then where we were standing. God forbid a bomb actually exploded, a car would have been the safer choice. But, the best part was sitting in the gym for about 3 hours and being yelled at if we moved. When we finally did go back to class, no one even inspected the upstairs where the bomb threat was found! The students should have been sent home after standing in the rain.

First of all, if your not a student there don't assume that the vice principal is always correct, just because she is the authority. I know plenty of people who just want to stay in their warm cars and the vice principal has driven around and scoulded them to get inside. Why pay 30 dollars to park in the parking lot if you can't even sit in your car?

If you were that concerned why didn't you keep your children/child home. You are the parent, you make the decisions and you fill out the absent slip.
Why bash a school district when you are responsible for your child?

Supposedly serving lunch brings in the $$$ even on early dismissal days. This is why we serve breakfast too. If parents don't have enough money to feed their kids at home who would think they have money to eat at school? Serving food is a big income for the school and that's why they can't have their ranch dressing either.
